Dancing Queen

After dinner I took Parker's shirt off because he had spilled juice down his front. Well Penelope certainly wasn't going to keep her shirt on if Parker got to take his off so our twins spent the evening topless. The reason I'm telling you this is to explain P & P's outfits in this video. It seems we are raising a future contestant on 'So You Think You Can Dance' or at least someone destined to dance in the audience on 'Ellen!' As you will see, Penelope LOVES to dance. Anytime music comes on, she starts swaying. Tonight she was just dancing like crazy which was so fun to watch; I figured some others (mostly my parents) might enjoy it as well. With no further ado, I give you Penelope, Dancing Queen of the Randalls:

Easter

I know this post is a little late but I wanted to document our Easter. We had a great one. Parker and Penelope participated in their first Easter egg hunt at a park with their 'mommy and me' classmates:

Then on the day before Easter some friends put together a little Easter egg hunt for Parker and Penelope. It was so sweet. The four children, ages 3 to 8, set up the hunt on the lawn next to our home and helped the kids find the eggs and collect them.

Parker was so excited for the book he found, he sat right down to read it.

Easter morning started with the kids opening their cards from Grandpa and Grandma Ballentine. They were SO excited to discover stickers. And not just stickers, stickers of Sesame Street. Parker and Penelope LOVE Sesame Street these days, especially Elmo.

Even Oliver was excited and wanted to wear a sticker:

Later that afternoon we had some friends of ours over for Easter dinner and had a little egg hunt in the backyard. By this time Parker and Penelope knew exactly what to do:

All in all, we had a lovely Easter with lovely sunny weather here in San Diego. Even the earthquake didn't detract from our festivities!!
